Vidya Pratishthan, Baramati has endorsed an Alliance Agreement with IBM’s Innovation Center for Education (ICE) and DesignTech Systems Pvt. Limited, on 28 Dec 2022. With an aim to enhance the skills and train the students ensuring they are industry-ready, and globally competitive, the IBM Innovation Center for Education (ICE) has designed a tailored curriculum to improve the student employability quotient for students pursuing careers at Vidya Pratishthan, Baramati.

Courses Offered
IBM Innovation Centre for Education (ICE) is a ‘unique global initiative’ by IBM, to offer much-needed applied information technology knowledge to graduating students from Vidya Pratishthan, in various dominant and futuristic technology areas for Certification in1. Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
2. Data Science
3. CyberSecurity
4. Internet of Things (IoT)
Every certification includes four courses distributed over four semesters. These courses would be offered to undergraduate students in addition to their regular university degree courses as:
Two-year Honours/Majors Program for students having a Computer Science background (usually in the last two years of ongoing degree programme)
Two-year Minors Program for Non-Computer Science Students (usually in the last two years of an ongoing degree program in any discipline)
One-year Post Graduate Diploma Program for Graduate Students from various disciplines & Working Professionals (after completion of graduation in any discipline)

Salient Features
A basket of 4 courses will be delivered in Two years, that is, one course per semester, as per our timetable.These basket of 4 courses are to be taken by students over and above their regular university coursework.
Courses will be taught by IBM to a batch of 60 students.
Students can avail of soft loan at 3.1% per annum (simple interest) to be repaid after graduation and 2 years moratorium.
Fees For Honours/Minor Degree Programme: Rs. 78,000/- (Rs. 19500/- per course)
Course delivery: 60% Online and 40% Offline.
The Program also offers Industry Project & Virtual Internship. On completion. of the course, students would be awarded a globally recognised IBM Badge (Digital Certificate).
