Pant College Ghurdauri, Pauri Garwal Uttarakhand (India).
Intellectual Property Rights (I.P.Rs) are a set of exclusive rights protected by the law which are accorded to creators or persons over their creations for a certain time of period. It has been observed that there is an inadequate knowledge about the rights of individuals to protect their ideas and innovations and low awareness about the procedures involved in obtaining an I.P.R among the students. So to create awareness about the Intellectual Property Rights (I.P.R) among the students, Department of Mechanical Engineering has conducted two day short term training on “Importance of I.P.R in Research and Entrepreneurship” on 27th-28th February 2020. The program was attended by nearly 60 to 65 S.E students from Mechanical and Civil Engineering Department, along with faculty members.
Department of Mechanical Engineering has organized a three day workshop on “Robotics with Raspberry Pi3 using python Certification Program” during 17th to 19th January 2020. A batch of 20 students was selected and workshop was conducted in the CAD lab of the department. Trainer Mr. Yogesh has explained the basic functionality of the Raspberry Pi B+ board. He also describes how to set up the board, configure it, and use it. He also describes the basics of the Python programming language to prepare students for programming on the Raspberry Pi. Students also learned to handle simple projects on the raspberry pi using python language.
Department of Mechanical Engineering arranged Two Days Workshop on AutoCAD dated 10 & 11 January 2020. In this workshop students learn the basics of AutoCAD. This course was designed so that the commands and instructions should work on almost any version of AutoCAD, although this version was designed specifically for AutoCAD 2018.
Workshop on “Reference Management for Project Report Writing by Using Mendeley” .
Mendeley is a free online and desktop reference manager that can help to save PDF articles, organize citations, create bibliographies, insert references into papers/reports, and collaborate with other Mendeley users. This workshop was conducted under ISTE and SAE Club. It was conducted on 30th September 2019. Around 15 students and few faculties had attended the workshop.
Mr. Avinash Kolekar
