A full-fledged sports campus is developed on 20 Acres sports complex of Vidya Pratishthan. Olympic size running track, a well-developed Kho-kho ground, Football, Tennis Courts facilities are available with trained coach. Fully-equipped gymnasiums for Boys and Girls are available. The college has its own playground with a provision for Volleyball, Basketball, Cricket and Kabaddi. In addition to this, Open Gymnasium facility is also made available at VPKBIET Ground near the Hostel Premises.

Mr. Samarth Jankar (F. Y B. Tech.)

Mr. Samarth Jankar, a first-year student, represented VPKBIET and SPPU in the National Level All India Inter-University Softball Men Championship-2024, which was held at Bangalore University in Bengaluru. The SPPU team also finished fourth in the event. This competition featured 88 university teams from India.

Rohit Bichukale(SE-Electrical) was selected in Zonal Team at TC College, Baramati Volleyball(Men) competition.

Abhishek Kumbhar ( SE-Mech. Engg.) & Sahil Borate (TE-IT) have selected in Pune Districe Sports Zonal Softball (Men) Team.

2018-19

Ms. Sarika Darade has Secured VIth rank in Cycling Road Race.

Ms. Sarika Darade has received Ist rank in 100 Metres Freestyle and IInd rank in 50 Metres and 200 Metres Freestyle

Swanand Khaladkar has received IInd rank in 50 Metres Butterfly and IIrd rank in 200 Metres Individual Medley and 50 Metres
Backstroke.

Awards at State/University Level

Vangate Narendra (TE-IT) won first prize in Inter Collegiate Boxing tournament at State level conducted by Savitribai Phule Pune University.

Rahul Kale (TE-Electrical) stood second in Inter Collegiate State level Kabaddi Tournament held by Savitribai Phule Pune University.

Tushar Nawale (TE-Electrical) won Silver Medal in 1500 mtr. Running Athletics and was selected for zonal level at Inter Collegiate Athletics Tournament of Savitribai Phule Pune University.

Autonomy- Physical Education Schemes

Physical Education Exam. Scheme For First Year Students of All the Faculties:

Aim of the Scheme: The aim of the scheme is to make Physical Education as an integral part of educational system. Students studying in the colleges should have the benefit of physical education to improve their health during the course of college education. It is designed to ensure that on completion of this training, they would attain the minimum prescribed standard. A student will have to select any one game from the list of games organized by the Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi and understand and practice the game in the academic year.

Objectives of the scheme: The objective of the scheme is to enhance physical efficiency and maintain fitness of mind, body and character, which would help the student to be mentally alert and physically efficient to withstand the strain and fatigue of daily life. It would prepare them for the strenuous training which will help them to be fit to face the different barriers in life. The students will undergo this scheme for the first year of his/her under graduate course education.

Vidya Pratisthan’s Kamalnayan Bajaj College of Engineering conducts the annual sports event named as KURUKSHETRA every year in order to promote the sporting skills of all the students and enable them to learn leadership qualities, team spirit etc along-with the regular academic schedule.
