Artificial intelligence is impacting virtually every industry and applications of human beings. From your smart phones to driverless cars and computer games to space missions, everywhere you find the application and integration of artificial intelligence. Artificial intelligence has boosted the other technologies such as big data analysis, Internet of Things (IoT) and robotics and it will be the technology that will make our lives easier.
Almost all industries are now opting and investing large amounts of funds for the research, application and integrations of artificial intelligence in their products.There is a good demand in the market for the skillful engineers with the knowledge and experience of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
Keeping in mind the need of the industry and the future of the technology, AICTE has initiated an undergraduate program in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science.
VPKBIET Baramati has started the undergraduate program of intake 120 in “Artificial Intelligence and Data Science” affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune. This course will give the students the right insight about the technologies like artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science and advanced topics like deep learning, natural language processing and big data analytics.
We will have a project-based learning approach to make students aware about the technology and product development processes. The blended learning model with MOOCs and other online learning tools will make the students resourceful.
Students will pursue their career in the industry as a machine learning engineer, data scientist, data analysts and software engineer. Students can also be an entrepreneur and start their own start-ups for artificial intelligence and machine learning applications.
We are confident that with our variety of learning pedagogy, we will produce engineers with the right knowledge and right skill sets required for the industry.

Conduct Investigations of Complex Problems: Use research-based knowledge and research methods including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesis of the information to provide valid conclusions.
Modern Tool: Usage Create, select, and apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modern Engineering and IT tools including prediction and modeling to complex Engineering activities with an understanding of the limitations.
The Engineer and Society : Apply reasoning informed by the contextual knowledge to assess societal, health, safety, legal and cultural issues and the consequent responsibilities relevant to the professional engineering practice.
Environment and Sustainability: Understand the impact of the professional Engineering solutions in societal and Environmental contexts, and demonstrate the knowledge of, and need for sustainable development.
Ethics: Apply ethical principles and commit to professional ethics and responsibilities and norms of the Engineering practice.

"Electricity Transformer Life Time Estimation using Association Rule Mining" Funded by BCUD, Savitribai Phule, Pune
University, Pune. He has delivered expert lectures on Design and Analysis of Algorithms, System Programming,
Computer Graphics, Compiler Construction at different engineering colleges under Shivaji University,
Solapur University and Pune University. Digambar is having 12 years of experience at undergraduate and Post
graduate level.
He has worked as Correspondent for the National Conference on Emerging Trends in Engineering and Technology
(NCETET-2012) at VPCoE, Baramati in 2012. Digambar has worked as workshop coordinator for "SDES" Workshop conducted by
IIT Bombay, Mumbai and "Introduction to Design of Algorithms" ISTE workshop by IIT Kharagpur, supported by MHRD Govt.
