Nira Deoghar Dam:- Nira-Deoghar is an irrigation project across river Nira, a Right bank tributary of Bhima in Krishna basin near village Deoghar, Taluka-Bhor, Dist-Pune. This project is an irrigation-cum power project with of power potential of 6MW. Kank saheb guided us and explained dam features and showed power house.

Around 45 students of TE (Mechanical) alongwith four staff members visited "Gas Turbine Power Plant, Uran on 03rd March 2016. Prof. D. D. Rupanwar, Prof. V. B. Bhagwat, Prof. V. B. Bhagwat & Prof. Sai Gopal accompanied students for guiding. The next day students visited Volkswagen Pune Plant to study the advanced manufacturing process and automation in assembly lines.

NANDAN is a cooperative dairy project established on 1st December 1977 and since then it has achieved many landmarks in milk procurement, extension, animal health and milk processing, product making and marketing. Technically, sugarcane is a highly efficient converter of solar energy and in fact, has the highest energy to volume ratio among all energy crops. Bagasse is generated after crushing of sugarcane is used as main fuel in all the three boilers. The average number of days for which the power plant operates with bagasse as fuel ranges from 160-180 days.

Dam is This dam is constructed across the river Krishna. Krishna river is one of the longest rivers in central-southern India, about 1,300 kilometers (810 mi). flows through the states Maharashtra , Karnataka , Andhra Pradesh and ends in bay. Irrigation - The construction of this dam was started in 1996. The major purpose of this dam is the supply of water to the agriculture, industries, and for drinking. Water supply is majorly done for Wai, Phaltan, Khandala, Bhor, Panchgani - Mahabaleshwar and the surrounding villages on the bank of the dam.
